The Vercal Building at 1 N Calle Cesar Chavez is located in the City of Santa Barbara’s Coastal Zone, south of U.S. Highway 101, within the City’s East Beach neighborhood. This area of the City is bounded by U.S. Highway 101 to the north, Cabrillo Blvd. to the south, City limits to the east, and Santa Barbara Street to the west. The East Beach neighborhood is one of the more diverse neighborhoods in the City from a land use perspective, including a mix of industrial, manufacturing, hospitality, residential and public facility uses.
